Our Hair Stylists

Marie (Owner and Hair Designer) I have wanted to do hair since I was nine years old & have 50 years of experience. I keep up to date in my profession by constantly attending classes & shows all over the country. I’ve been to classes in Las Vegas, Florida, Ohio, and New York. I really love what I do to make people feel good about themselves.
Jan I’ve been a Hairstylist for over 25 years. I’ve wanted to do hair as long as I can remember. I’ve been through the Salon Psychology Course with Dr. Locency, Synergy Summit in Ohio plus many more classes, which help me to keep up with new trends & styles in, cuts & colors. I also specialize in waxing, facials, and pedicures.
Margie I have been a cosmetologist for 27 years. I have attended the Matrix Summit in Ohio, the Salon Psychology course in Rochester plus many other classes. I feel it important to keep up on new styles by attending many hair shows. I have been with the New Wave team for 21 years.
Kathy I have been a Cosmetologist for 26 years. I have trained with Pivot Point Matrix and attend seminars yearly to keep up with the latest innovative hairstyles, colors & creative cuts. Along with hairstyling, I also specialize in waxing, facials, and make-up application.
Debbie I have been a resident of this area for 40 years. I have been in the personal beautification business for 28 of those years. I greatly enjoy every aspect of my work…perms, coloring, and the latest hair cutting styles. To keep my many clients up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, I take numerous continuing education and product knowledge classes. Most of all, I enjoy the long-standing relationships with my clients & their families. I welcome the opportunity to have you as a client.
Karen I’ve been a cosmetologist for 19 years. I have been trained at the New York State Cosmetology Institute and continue educational training yearly to keep up with the newest trends. I have been with New Wave for over six years. I enjoy making clients feel good and look good. I also teach elementary school children.
Laura I have been a cosmetologist for a total of twenty years and have been a part-time stylist here at New Wave for the past thirteen years. I specialize in customized permanent waving, coloring, cutting, waxing, make-up, and braiding. I continue to grow through continuing education and through my other part-time position as a teaching assistant working with students in the BOCES Cosmetology program. I also teach elementary school children. I love working with people and would be happy to have a consultation with you to help you meet your personal beauty needs and goals.
Our Staff Linda (Receptionist) I joined the New Wave team as a receptionist in 2005 after retiring from a career with a local corporation. I really enjoy the people contact and the warm, yet professional, atmosphere of the Salon.
